The Capital One Venture Rewards Credit Card: This card is popular for its flexibility and ease of earning points and redemption. You earn 2 miles per $1 spent on everything. These miles have no expiration date and can be redeemed for credit against most travel expenses without worrying about any minimum redemption amount. The card offers a one-time bonus of 50,000 miles once you spend $3,000 on purchases within 3 months from account opening, which translates to $500 in travel.
There are no foreign transaction fees and no annual fees for the first year. From the second year, you’ll need to pay $95 per year. The APR for this card varies between 14.49% - 24.49%.
Bank of America Travel Rewards Credit Card: The card offers a sign-up bonus of 20,000 online bonus points if you make at least $1,000 in purchases in the first 90 days of account opening. That can translate to a $200 statement credit toward travel purchases. Apart from that, you earn 1.5 points per $1 spent on anything, and each point is worth 1 cent. These points can be redeemed for credit against travel purchases, and you can book during any season, with any carrier or hotel chain. Moreover, you stand to earn 3 points per $1 on the first $150,000 spent on travel and select business categories each account anniversary year. On all other purchases, you earn 1 point per $1 spent.
